Meet our team…

Today we announced our new school council team members during our weekly celebration assembly. Each class has two representatives. At the moment two of our members are unable to appear on the blog. Children will be able to keep up to date with school council projects on our school council notice board and updates will be posted on here regularly. Thank you to all those children who prepared and delivered a speech and huge congratulations to our new representatives chosen by their peers.

School Council Launch

On Monday 11th September during our weekly assembly, Mrs Robbs launched the plans for the school council this year. Children can nominate themselves and if they feel they have the right skills and attributes to be a member of the school council, they will have to write and deliver a speech to class members on Thursday 14th September. On Tuesday 19th September, children will have an opportunity to vote for two council members per class. Voting results will then be announced during an assembly. Mrs Robbs is very excited about the year ahead and working on the agreed projects. Being a school council member is  an ideal opportunity for children to be involved in some of the ways a school is run. The results will also be announced on here. Watch this space!
