First meeting!

Today we had the first meeting for the newly elected school council members.  The school council had a group discussion and one of the year 6 members wrote them down for us. What a lot of exciting and ambitious ideas!

If you have an idea for our school be sure to tell the school council members… you’ll know who they are as they have a ‘School Council’ lanyard. We’re going to introduce them in assembly tomorrow too! Or… (last but not least!) you can post to this blog.

Election fever hit Broadmeadow on Friday afternoon when the ballot box travelled around the school for children to cast their votes on school council. Well done to the 4B helpers who helped out, best of luck to everyone who completed their manifesto to be a school councillor – RESULTS ON MONDAY!

If you aren’t successful then our next election will be in February – another chance to be a school councillor!
